Where are you located?
We are based in Newcastle, NSW. However we are happy to travel to all surrounding areas up to 2 hours of travel time. For clients requiring more than 45 minutes travel, additional travel costs will be added to the overall cost of your Training Course.
What type of Training do you offer?
Rhys is considered as what is known as a Balanced Trainer. This means that we use both positive and negative reinforcement when training dogs. Our Training approach is adjusted for each client depending on which method the dog learns best with.
How much does Training cost?
Hourly Sessions can be booked at $180 per hour to address single training issues or goals.
However, we feel that there is a greater chance of positive results if the owner and dog are able to commit to a series of training sessions over time.
All new clients are recommended to join our Foundations Course which focuses on developing the communication skills of the handler, which assists them to better understand how to communicate and train their dog.
Each client is given a 100% personalized Training plan that is tailored to their individual needs and goals. As a result our prices vary greatly. However, the majority of our clients end up spending between $1,800 and $5,000 over a 3 to 6 month period.
Can my dog join Adventure Day Care?
All dogs joining Adventure Day Care must pass the following criteria:

be well socialized with other dogs

able to travel happily in a car

effective recall
There are only 4 spaces for each day of daycare. As a result spaces are very limited.
We also evaluate all the dogs and pair them into groups that work well together. So your dog may need to wait until a space opens up on a day that best suits them.
